Each USS refurbished meter undergoes a comprehensive, multi-stage process to ensure performance, accuracy, and longevity in accordance with applicable refurbishment and testing standards.
Our process includes:
- Complete disassembly and inspection of applicable meter components
- Sand blasting and surface preparation for a clean surface prior to refinishing
- Cleaning and preparation of gasket surfaces to restore proper sealing integrity
- Valve and valve plate resurfacing to prevent internal leaking between the diaphragms, inlet and outlet of the meter
- Thorough exterior cleaning prior to painting
- Leak testing to verify seal integrity
- Proof and adjustment to specified accuracy requirements to confirm precise measurement performance
- Installation of a compatible endpoint/ERT, when included in the meter configuration
- Application of new badging for clear identification and traceability
- Final assembly and detailed quality inspection
Each USS refurbished meter is accompanied by a detailed Outtest Report verifying final calibration and performance test results, ensuring full transparency and traceability for every unit.
