Each USS refurbished meter undergoes a comprehensive, multi-stage process to ensure performance, accuracy, and longevity that meet or exceed original manufacturer standards.
Our process includes:
Complete disassembly and inspection of all meter components
Sand blasting to white metal for a clean, corrosion-free surface
Cleaning and wire-brushing gasket surfaces to restore proper sealing integrity
Valve and valve plate resurfacing to prevents internal leaking between the diaphragms, inlet and outlet of the meter
Thorough exterior cleaning prior to painting
Leak testing by submersion in a water tank with the meter pressurized to MAOP to verify seal integrity
Proof and adjustment to within ±0.5% accuracy to confirm precise measurement performance
Installation of a USS Refurbished endpoint/ERT
Application of new badging for clear identification and traceability
Final assembly and detailed quality inspection
Each USS refurbished meter is accompanied by a detailed Outtest Report verifying all calibration, leak, and performance test results, ensuring full transparency and traceability for every unit.
